Sydney’s favourite fun run is back!
On Sunday, 10 August 2025, over 90,000 people will hit the streets for the City2Surf – a 14km run (or walk) from Hyde Park to Bondi Beach. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or strolling for charity, here’s everything you need to know to get there, stay safe, and enjoy the day – all with help from the KRAIL App.
CBD (3:30am – 12pm): College St, Macquarie St, Park St, St James Rd
Woolloomooloo to Edgecliff (6am – 12pm): William St to New South Head Rd
Double Bay to Rose Bay (7am – 1pm): New South Head Rd to Dover Rd
Rose Bay to North Bondi (7am – 2pm): Military Rd & Old South Head Rd
Bondi Beach area (6am – 4pm): Campbell Pde, Lamrock Ave, Hastings Pde
First wave starts: 7:35am
Final wave starts: 9:27am (start line closes 9:50am)
Finish line closes: 1:50pm
Roads fully reopen: By 4pm in Bondi

Public transport is your best friend on race day – and it’s free for participants.

Closest buses: Elizabeth St at Hyde Park & Martin Place (Orange wave)
